maybe I'll go in order, Christian finally signed all the contracts, passed the physicals, and was sworn in to the DEP (delayed entry program) for the Navy. He got the job he wanted with no problem (hospital Corpsman) and his scheduled ship date for Basic Training is June 6th!
A few weeks later I peed on a stick, and apparently two pink lines means you have a fetus in your belly. mine specifically. so we went to a health clinic and got pregnancy proof and they told us our baby's estimated due date is June 11th!
I've found the wonderfulness it ist o be a brand new mom. I can smell a dumpster from a mile away, .... oh man ... I seriously just gagged just envisioning that scenario. but really I only puke a few times a day every other day or so, so it could be worse. I'm learning all the tricks to keep the nausea away and they are a big help.
We met with Christians recruiter and told him that I'm pregnant and asked about our medical coverage, and just as we had suspected, we don't get any until he leaves for boot camp, FIVE DAYS AFTER the baby is scheduled to come. but Ramirez (our recruiter) said, that under the circumstances, he can request that they push our ship date sooner. so lets all cross our fingers.
We did a little bit of research when christian learned he was going to be a Hospital corpsman, and we learned that after boot camp they send him to School for 14 months in San Antonio Texas! We're really excited for that.

Yay Ali! So excited for all your news, especially of your fetus :-) Hopefully we can see you guys in San Antonio!
congrats on the baby news! Morning sickness is a .... well, I'm sure you figured that out by now. I hope it has let up some. I was puking with my daughter anywhere from 3-5 up to 12 times a day. I wanted to die!!! It seriously felt like I was going to. I am positive your baby is going to be super super cute since his/her cousins are adorable too! You just got good genes girl!
